Thank you to everyone who joined us for the second annual “Crush’s Homers for Hearts” Home Run Derby, hosted by #19, Chris Davis and his wife, Jill, at Oriole Park at Camden Yards to benefit the Children’s Heart Program at the University of Maryland Children’s Hospital. 

About Crush's Homers for Hearts

“Crush’s Homers for Hearts” Home Run Derby is a charity event hosted in partnership with Orioles first baseman Chris Davis and his wife, Jill, and the Baltimore Orioles.

Jill and Chris Davis serve as ambassadors for the University of Maryland Children’s Hospital (UMCH). Partnering with UMCH experts and dedicated staff, the Davises raise public awareness of childhood illnesses and disease research. They regularly visit children in the hospital to provide moral support and to see how family-centered care at UMCH is helping children to live healthier and happier lives.

Home Run Derby participants experienced a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play baseball on the field of Oriole Park at Camden Yards, which included a warm-up on the field with the Orioles Strength & Conditioning coach, complimentary food and beverages, and pictures with Jill and Chris Davis. Additionally, the Davis family hosted patients from the University of Maryland Children’s Hospital for a T-ball challenge.
