Introducing Good Move

The Maryland Half Marathon & 5K is excited to offer a new mobile app that tracks your training and fundraising: Good Move. It turns your everyday training activities into fundraising opportunities, plus it's free to download! From the time you register until race day, track all of your training—whether it be a run, walk, yoga, bike ride + more—and collect points to compete for awesome prizes. Good Move also makes it super easy to fundraise. You can directly message your friends and family via text message or share a post to your social media channels, all through the app. Did you know that fundraisers who log their activity and publicly share their updates can raise an average of 40% more?...So, let's get started!

Step 1 - Register for the Maryland Half Marathon & 5K and download the Good Move app

Step 2 - Use the one-time passcode emailed to you after signing up to join this event

Step 3 - Log your activities throughout your training to climb an interactive leaderboard

Step 4 - You're in! Fundraise alongside your activity goals to double your impact for the University of Maryland Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center

What do your fundraising dollars support?

Your fundraising dollars are directly supporting groundbreaking cancer research at the Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center.
